He displayed his unique skills in a very extensive addition and renovation completed in 2010 on our home. His initial consultation with the architect was instrumental for a positive outcome of the project. The plan called for a slab foundation and David correctly recommended a full basement foundation. His knowledge from the groundwork (including a challenging well) and framing, to the excellent and unique custom curved front door which he designed and constructed, was exceptional.

We are deilghted with the results and continue to employ his services. I have not met a more competent and honest professional than David in this field.

David Stewart built our summer home and we are more than thrilled with the finished product.

We had a summer home in Scituate, MA that my parents bought in 1944. I was over 100 years old. It was a very special place to our family.

It was a hard decision to make to knock down the existing house and build a new one in it's place. David assured us it was a much better decision to knock it down than to renovate. Renovating can be more costly and the unknown problems can cause added expenses.

David drew up plans for the new house and he tried to keep it having the same old world charm, we loved the plans and decided to go forward.

The house was knocked down in September and we moved in the middle of June. It was not and easy task as that winter was a tough one on the ocean.

David stayed with the original plans and there were no delays or unexpected occurred expenses.

David is a true craftsman. He himself built the porch railings, the front door and side panels, the island in the kitchen, a mantel on the stone faced fireplace, a linen cabinet in the master bath. These pieces all look a piece of furniture.

We are thrilled and proud of our new home. We even have the pleasure of using it year round. Many who walk to the beach marvel at the finished product. We couldn't be happier and it will be used and enjoyed by our children and 4 grandchildren for years to come.

We would highly recommend David Stewart to build or renovate a home for you and we know that you will not be disappointed.
